Amanda and Jo forged their partnership at one of the largest front-of-house brands in the sector. Over eight years together, they led some of the industry's biggest and most ambitious client partnerships. They then joined forces again at a start-up founded by Amanda, where together they transformed what workplace hospitality could be. They didn't just build a business—they created a movement. Ranked among the Top 6 Employers in Hospitality, named the Happiest Place to Work, and recognised for Wellbeing and Employee Advocacy. Their expertise proved what happens when you refuse to settle for ordinary. ​The awards mattered, but the culture mattered more. Amanda brings over 25 years of experience across hospitality and guest services, shaping workplace experiences in sectors ranging from finance and media to legal and flexible workspaces. Her career spans senior roles in operational leadership, business development, and multi-site service delivery, where she has consistently driven growth, strengthened partnerships, and elevated service standards.

 

In her most recent venture before Hestia, Amanda founded and led a guest services business that became widely recognised for its culture, wellbeing ethos, and commitment to employee advocacy. Working alongside Jo, she built a people-first organisation known for high engagement, strong client loyalty, and award-winning workplace experiences.

 

Amanda’s leadership is defined by curiosity, connection, and a belief that great service starts with great people. She is known for asking the questions others overlook, building trust through transparency, and creating environments where teams feel empowered to deliver exceptional experiences. Her vision has always been clear. Nurture the people who create the magic and deliver genuine value for clients every day.

Jo Newton

Jo brings 15 years of specialist experience in guest services, leading high-profile operations across banking, consultancy, wealth management, insurance, and creative industries. Her career has centred on developing people, strengthening client relationships, and delivering consistent excellence across diverse and demanding environments.

 

Before co-founding Hestia, Jo held senior operational leadership roles and worked closely with Amanda to build a culture-led guest services business known for its service consistency, team development, and trusted partnerships. She played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s operational framework, enhancing client satisfaction, and delivering large-scale improvements with a calm, people-centred approach.

 

Jo’s leadership blends empathy with operational rigour. She is known for spotting potential, elevating performance, and creating teams who care deeply and deliver brilliantly. Her reputation is built on reliability, clarity, and a commitment to making service feel seamless, human, and consistently excellent.
